‘This is a critical period for the metering services sector’ says new Chair of Utility Network’s Metering Services Group

Utility Network’s Metering Services Group welcomes Darren McNeil, Regional Technical & Sales Manager for Crane Buildings Services & Utilities, (Crane BS&U) as Chair; he takes over from John Hall of Providor.
Gary Cottrell from UN said “Crane is a leading design and manufacturer of a range of engineered flow control products that are used extensively in the HVAC and Utilities sector. They have been members of our Metering Services Group for many years and I am delighted that Darren has now stepped into the role of Chair.”
Darren McNeil at Crane said “With the smart metering roll out campaign scheduled to commence soon, now is a critical period for the metering services sector. I welcome the opportunity to lead the group in the coming months and look forward to working with the wider membership.”
