Hop to it – book your place now for Gas 2017

18th Oct 2017

There are just three weeks to go until the Energy and Utilities Alliance’s highly anticipated event, Gas 2017 – with places filling up quickly, now is the time to book your place on a day which will explore the future role of gas in the UK’s energy mix, providing not only critical insights but also vital networking opportunities.

The event, sponsored by DNV GL, Baxi Heating and Wales and West Utilities, takes place on the 8th of November at the National Brewery Centre in Burton Upon Trent, with an optional tour and beer tasting experience on offer to all delegates afterwards.

Amongst the speakers is Andrew Warren, chair of the British Energy Efficiency Federation who will detail the future of Energy Efficiency Policy in the UK, drawing on his extensive experience within the sector to explain how gas can enable us to reduce both carbon emissions and fuel poverty.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to gain insight from Andrew Malins, Head of Network Capability, Operations and Gas at National Grid on Project CLoCC – an initiative aimed at minimising the cost and time of new connections to the National Transmission System (NTS), which facilitates connections for unconventional customers. This will frame a wider debate on how innovation can enable us to overcome the challenges the future of gas faces.
