The event, sponsored by DNV GL, Baxi Heating and Wales and West Utilities, takes place on the 8^th of November at the National Brewery Centre in Burton Upon Trent, with an optional tour and beer tasting experience on offer to all delegates afterwards.

Amongst the speakers is Andrew Warren, chair of the British Energy Efficiency Federation who will detail the future of Energy Efficiency Policy in the UK, drawing on his extensive experience within the sector to explain how gas can enable us to reduce both carbon emissions and fuel poverty.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to gain insight from Andrew Malins, Head of Network Capability, Operations and Gas at National Grid on Project CLoCC – an initiative aimed at minimising the cost and time of new connections to the National Transmission System (NTS), which facilitates connections for unconventional customers. This will frame a wider debate on how innovation can enable us to overcome the challenges the future of gas faces.
