Gas Awards 2016 – Categories unveiled

The categories for this year’s annual Gas Awards, being held on Tuesday 17th May at the London Hilton on Park Lane, have been unveiled today. The event organised by the Energy and Utilities Alliance, (EUA) and the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers, (IGEM), recognises and rewards the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses working across the gas industry.
This year’s categories include:
- Engineer of the Year
- Young Persons’ Achievement Award
- Energy Efficiency
- Innovation – product of the year
- Leadership Award
- Manager of the Year
- Safety Award
- Customer Service Award
- Innovation – project of the year
- Company of the Year
Mike Foster Chief Executive of EUA said “Last year saw an unprecedented number of nominations across all categories and we hope that this year will be no different.”
Sarb Bajwa, Chief Executive of IGEM said “Our industry has many outstanding individuals and companies and these awards allow recognise that.”
