Mike Foster, Chief Executive of the Energy and Utilities Alliance (EUA) said:

At the heart of the living wage movement is the idea that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay and this is something we wholeheartedly support. This independently calculated wage exceeds the government minimum and we encourage other employers to join us in our commitment to the living wage.’

He added:

‘The EUA is proud to be at the forefront of ethical business practices, having also achieved Prompt Payment Code status (PPC) to support small business and accreditation by the Fairtrade Foundation.’
